Inspect beyond the reported sighting, including relevant entrances, eaves, exterior lighting, garages, basements, storage and utility areas.
Address spider activity and the insect pressure supporting it.
Focus treatment on the areas and conditions that matter instead of performing the same routine everywhere.

TAGZ inspects recurring webs and spider activity around entrances, exterior lighting, storage areas and utility spaces. We assess sheltered locations and nearby insect activity, coordinate service around property access, and document findings, treatment and recommended follow-up.
TAGZ assesses recurring webs and spider sightings around eaves, garages, basements, window wells and entry points. We recommend treatment based on the affected areas and conditions supporting activity. Tell us if you suspect a black widow, and avoid handling it.
Spiders follow prey and shelter. Exterior lighting can draw insects toward a building. Openings around doors, utilities and foundations can provide access. Eaves, landscaping, storage areas and other low-traffic spaces can provide protected places for webs and egg sacs.
Utah State University identifies the black widow as Utah’s primary spider of medical concern. Black widows prefer dark, undisturbed spaces and may be found around foundations, storage areas, sheds, irrigation boxes, exterior lighting and other protected locations.
Not every dark spider is a black widow. Avoid handling a suspected widow and note where it was found so the surrounding area can be properly assessed.
